The mission is simple... help folks that are living a life of service get into a stable housing situation where they OWN their homes!  No more landlords raising rent or forcing a move because they want to sell.  I truly believe that ownership stabilizes lives and neighborhoods. The pride of homeownership is real and hard to quantify.

What started with a "why don't we try this" turned into us getting IRS designation as a registered 501(c)(3)... then self-funding the majority of the charity's bank account, then creating a website and logo to be able to get additional donations.  This yielded a few incredible donations from friends and family that believed in the cause (my Mom was one of these!) then on to finding some folks that personify what the Good Hope Foundation (GHF) is all about (Johanna and Dave's story is below).  Then on to hunting for the right home and finally a celebration... CLOSING DAY!

We are beyond thrilled to announce that Johanna and David are the new proud owners of a cute, ranch style home in Longmont!  Good Hope Foundation paid the 3% downpayment and all of their closing costs.  They switch from paying rent to paying a mortgage and away they go on the course of homeownership! All of the commission from the sale received by me as the buyer's agent was donated back to the GHF for the next round.
